Bryan & Kellie
This couple might look familiar as just last month I photographed and blogged their one year anniversary session, so I thought it would be fun to blog their wedding for Throwback Thursday and revisit their bright and romantic Kentucky wedding.
Bryan and Kellie got married at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, which is one of my favorite venues ever! The stone, the buildings, the greenery and rick house are all great backgrounds for awesome photos. And you can smell bourbon on the whole property, no matter where you go. Even though it was a warm day in May, the couple’s wedding went off without a hitch and the ceremony was one of the sweetest ones I’ve photographed, which included a knot tying ritual. There was something extremely romantic about photographing a ceremony underneath a big grand tree. The reception was also a lot of fun and there was a packed dance floor the whole night.
Buffalo Trace is one of my favorite venues. The scenery is beautiful.
Kellie is very detail oriented and you can tell in all the beautiful touches she incorporated in to the couples looks.
Bryan looked like a GQ model and Kellie was all smiles on their wedding day.
The couple opted for a first look outside some of the bottling warehouses at Buffalo Trace Distillery…
…and exchanged letters before the ceremony.
How romantic are these two?
And madly in love!
The Wedding Party
The groomsmen were looking stylish..
… and the bridesmaids were gorgeous.
What a beautiful scene for a warm May wedding.
Bryan & Kellie exchanged personalized wedding vows and had a knot tying ritual.
Some couples have a photo booth at their reception. Bryan and Kellie had a photo bus at theirs!
The couple had a fun and romantic first dance…
… but the rest dancing happened when the DJ opened the dance floor.
Kellie was in a sorority in college, so there was a ritual song her sisters sang to Bryan during the reception.
Ending the Night
I tried to give Bryan and Kellie a fun photo to end the night, so we took this moody and cool photo of them in the photo bus at the end of the night.
